In 2007 I published my first book, American Ghost- True Ghost Stories from Around the Country. It did well and became a cult classic. Although I still have an interest in the paranormal, I have not published a book on the subject since. I have though, always had intentions of doing so.
Since 2007 I retired from the Coast Guard and have traveled extensively in and out of the country. Just prior to the pandemic I was preparing the final draft of a new American Ghost book, The Dead West. Unfortunately during the mass panic that was the pandemic, publishing costs skyrocketed and put the project on hold. Also, admittedly, I had other things I wanted to do, such as traveling around Canada and then South America.
After deciding to put The Dead West on hold I also began writing stories that are exciting to me in a different way. There is a lot in the works. I still though, would love for the tales of ghost towns, Indians, cowboys, and miners to be read. So, this blog will be the repository of all of my paranormal stories for the time being. I also intend to revisit stories from the original book as details and conditions of locations have changed over time.
I am also interested in hearing from my readers about any experiences they have had or compelling photography or any other evidence that may be persuasive in the belief of the paranormal.
